Coming Up:
1.       September 21st  MAP Make up testing
MAP Testing
MAP Testing has been successfully completed. All our middle school students have been tested in Math and all students with the exception of beginner EAL have been tested in language usage and reading. This is a test to measure academic progress.  These results will enable teachers to gauge where students are currently, in what areas they are strong and what areas they need to work on and help teachers to be able to put the appropriate strategies in place to assist students in strengthening areas in which they need help. The MAP test score results will be sent home in the students mid-semester report cards. We will have another testing session April 9th-May 3rd.

Communication tips for parents included topics such as how to listen, responding, talking about alcohol and drugs to your child and modeling good behavior.
